Bexhill & Hastings Observers (29/05/09): Josh Tumbles To Silver
Eleven-year-old Josh Millard claimed a superb silver medal at the 2009 Tumbling Grades Finals in Stoke-on-Trent.
The 1066 Gymnastics Academy youngster competed very confidently and was leading after his second run.
St Leonards-based Josh totalled 78.300 from his three runs to finish in an impressive second place. His parents, sister and grandparents were all on hand to congratulate him on his national silver.
Josh, who qualified for the national level one finals by winning the regional 11-12-year-old boys' competition in Crawley during March, trains at the top level Bexhill facility which has been the club's home since last month.
He enjoys training on a full size Olympic gymnastics sprung floor, tumble track and sunken trampoline.
