Bexhill museum features club gymnasts
1066 Gymnastics is currently featuring in the new exhibition at Bexhill Museum. The sporting heritage exhibition chronicles the histories of various sports in the Bexhill area. A timeline as well as exhibits from various clubs and individuals are on display.
As part of the collection of sporting memorabilia, the club has loaned the museum various items from the 1066 Troopers' win at the 2010 Team Gym British Championships and from Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle's visit in the summer of 2009.
Club Manager & Head Coach Matthew Hart, Assistant Manager Cheryl Hart, Assistant Head Coach Jodie Saxby and coach to the 1066 Troopers team Clare Clarke were in attendance at the exhibition's official opening with the mayor.
