A BRAND NEW PURPOSE BUILT GYMNASTICS TRAINING CENTRE
The 1066 Gymnastics Academy launched in October 2008 and has enjoyed successes at several county, regional and national competitions since.
Our brand new 10,500 square foot facility is one of the highest quality gymnastics training centres in Sussex. Our location makes us easily accessible from Bexhill, Eastbourne, Hastings, St Leonards and beyond. We already have gymnasts and coaches travelling from Lydd and Brighton to reach this gym of such a high standard.
Work on the conversion of our large warehouse in Brett Drive (behind Ravenside Retail & Leisure Park's Tesco) started in October and went very smoothly. The gymnastics equipment was installed in March 2009; a full size sprung floor, a tumble track, foam filled pits, beams, bars, pommels, rings, parallel bars, vaults and a sunken trampoline, which all add up to make the 1066 Gymnastics Academy a must for anyone in the area who is interested in gymnastics as a sport, keeping fit or just having fun!
Our facilities and classes are designed to meet the needs of all levels and capabilites and our coaches are qualified to train, support and guide everyone from young preschool gymnasts through to national level competitors.
